Our Wellbeing Programme is at the heart of our business, underpinning everything we do to support our employees’ wellbeing and health. The programme aims to:

  • Provide our employees another way to contribute to our Purpose, by donating the total amount of money generated through our physical activity to non-profit organizations.

We know that talent is central to maintaining and growing a thriving work environment. This is why we are dedicated to fostering excellence in this field. We achieve this through training and personal development programmes. Every year we assess the development and professional growth of our employees through our talent review process that incorporates succession planning for an optimum workforce balance across the business model. Based on the learning model known as “70:20:10” we have developed an approach that encompasses experience-based learning, as well as academic and traditional training and personal development. The name reflects the model’s structure. It has been carefully balanced to meet employee needs, whereby 70% is based on work experience, 20% on interaction and mentoring and a further 10% on academic learning. 

We are dedicated to protecting, encouraging and investing in our people. We work hard to recruit and retain talented professionals who enrich our team and have signed collaboration agreements with leading universities and business schools to recruit top students. We also program hundreds of hours of employee training courses every year to invest in our staff and their future. In this way, we encourage a positive work environment based on personal and professional growth in different disciplines, equal opportunities and mutual respect. In recognition of our efforts, independent HR assessor CRF Institute has ranked Almirall as a ‘Top Employer' every year since 2008.

Only by managing diversity in an inclusive way will we be able to enhance innovation and problem solving, guarantee an environment free of discrimination and, consequently, break down the inequalities associated with labels.

The company recently launched a Diversity and Inclusion Program to raise awareness on people's differences and promote an inclusive working culture. As part of this programme, we have launched an Equality Plan 2021 - 2024 for Spain as well as a Diversity & Inclusion online training, which focuses on equality and the main ideas that have shaped current debates in the field.
